COUNTY - A 10-year-old boy was hurt last week when a sail boom struck him in the head.

 Paramedics and LaHave firefighters were dispatched to Pernette Drive on August 5 in response to a call at the LaHave River Yacht Club.

 The boy, complaining of a slight headache, was taken by ambulance to South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater.

 No other details on his condition were available.
