Lighthouse Media Group is looking for your tales of holiday tradition The Christmas season is all about tradition.
Each individual, each person, each group and organization here on the South Shore has its own set of traditions and values that have become an inherent part of how we celebrate the season each December. Lighthouse Media Group is looking to honour those traditions, new and old alike, in this year's Christmas section, which will be inserted in the Bridgewater Bulletin and Lunenburg Progress Enterprise on December 22 - but we need your help to do it. We're looking to find out about your unique, unusual or classic Christmas traditions. It could be something as simple and timeless as sharing a few recipes handed down through the generations or a more modern tradition, such as gathering around the computer and watching Santa make his way across the world on the NORAD website. The sky is the limit - and we know that there are plenty of great old and new Christmas traditions here on the South Shore that are just waiting to be shared. To suggest a story, contact special features writer Patrick Hirtle at phirtle@southshorenow.ca. Remember, space is limited, so if you would like to see a tale of you or yours in this year's Christmas supplement, don't delay - contact Patrick today. posted on 10/27/09 |
