Hospital reopened to visitors COUNTY - South Shore Health hospitals reopened to visitors on Monday. Visitation restrictions have been in place since November 3 in an effort to protect patients from the H1N1 flu virus.
Although visitation has resumed, South Shore Health is still reminding people not to visit patients or residents in hospitals or long-term care facilities if they are not feeling well. Visitors are also asked to limit the number of people visiting at one time; use hand sanitizer when entering the facility and prior to entering and leaving a patient's room; cough and sneeze into your sleeve; and minimize travel in public areas of the hospital. posted on 11/24/09 |
