Is it just me or do some of you folks out there agree that:

 The TV commercials are too loud and long, of doubtful intelligence and good taste?

 The background music in the shows is too loud and drowns out the conversation to the point that I quit watching?

 The TV news programs spend too much time on movie stars, who most of us don't give a darn about, or some single event and beat it to death?

 We live in a big country with lots going on that we seldom hear about.
