Cigarette butt ignited mulch A cigarette butt is blamed for starting what's described as a minor fire outside the Access Nova Scotia building off Logan Road, September 3.
Bridgewater Deputy Fire Chief Mike Nauss said it's likely discarded smoking materials started to ignite in the mulch just outside the government building. Firefighters sprayed water on the site and around the area of face boards. There were no injuries. posted on 09/07/10 |
