Mounties say two men will face charges in connection with what they allege was an illegal release at a non-approved septic disposal site in the Chester area.

 The men were arrested late last week after police received information from the public. Officers went to the site and witnessed a release of a substance by a local septic disposal contractor.

 The pair will be charged under the Environment Act and will appear in court at a later date.
