Chester Race Week 2010

Chester Race Week never lacks colour.
 CHESTER - Chester Race Week 2010 was another unqualified success.

 A total of 142 boats from all over eastern Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and the northeastern United States participated in the four-day event August 11 to 14.

 The class winners were:

 - A1 - CIAO BELLA, Phillippe Paturel, skipper, Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.

 - A2 - Savoury, Bob Gamble, Fredriction Yacht Club.

 - A3 - Anticipation, Ann Acland, Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.

 - B1 - Defiant, Mark Gosine, Dartmouth Yacht Club.

 - B2 - Sly Fox, James Mosher, Lunenburg Yacht Club.

 - B3 - Sisu, David Peer, Martimon Yacht Club; Bluenose Rebel, Wick McNeely, Chester.

 - Distance Class - Brilliance, Richard Calder, Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron.

 - Cruising Class 1 - Ceildih, Randy Stevens, Chester Yacht Club.

 - Cruising Class 2 - Tempus Fugit, David McVay, Chester Yacht Club; Classic Ripple, Jim Rafuse, Chester Yacht Club.

 - J29 - Dog Party, Terry McKenna, Charlottetown Yacht Club.

 - J24 - Sticky Fingers. John Whynacht.
